    Community Input
The PTA encourages input from the community to enhance the experiences at West Woodland. Here are a few methods to do so:

Our West Woodland PTA Legislative Liaison works to keep our community aware of public policy issues that affect schools.

If you have any questions about issues with the school district or the state legislature regarding education bills and funding, feel free to contact West Woodland's Legislative Liaison, Liz Mazzarella at Our legislative chair reports to the West Woodland community about education issues via the WW PTA Newsletter, at PTA board meetings, and at PTA General Meetings. The Washington State Legislature will convene in the spring. Legislators need to hear from parents, teachers and staff about our priorities in regard to education.

West Woodland is located in, and most of our families live in the 36th Legislative District.

    Meeting Minutes & PTA Newsletters:

The WWPTA Board meets on the first Tuesday of every month. If there is an issue or idea you want the WWPTA to address, let us know! You are welcome to put an item on our agenda at any time.  Please email one of the co-presidents prior to the Friday before the meeting in order to place your issue on the agenda for that month. Also, members of our community are welcome to come to any board meeting. It is helpful, but certainly not required, if you let us know you are coming.

All PTA Board Meeting minutes and PTA General Meeting minutes can be found in the office in the "PTA Minutes" binder. If you would like for a copy of any minutes to be emailed to you, please contact our secretaries directly at and they will be happy to furnish them to you.

Check the school calendar for more information and other events having at West Woodland.
