The Spring Ultimate season is here! West Woodland will have a team in the
DiscNW Elementary Mixed gender league again this year.
What is Ultimate?
Ultimate is a run/throw/catch field sport played with a "disc." The sport is played without referees — players self-officiate under the "spirit of the game." We teach the kids to discuss and solve conflicts on the field. Whether you play traditional sports or no sports, it is crazy fun! Mixed Gender teams play 5 on 5 with at least 2 of each gender on the field.
Games & Practices
Games are usually on Saturdays and practices are twice a week. We hope to be able to practice from 5 pm to 6pm at West Woodland.
Season
The season is March 10 thru May 12 with 6 to 8 regular games and 1 to 3 playoff games.
