Enrichment Programs

Our West Woodland PTA is proud to offer a variety of fun and exciting Enrichment Programs for our students. Classes are optional and are held before or after school on a seasonal basis (Fall, Winter, Spring) with the exception of a few year-long programs (Chess, Choir, CDL). There are no classes held during school holidays, early dismissal days, or weather closures. Classes are available to West Woodland students only.

Before registering, please read our Enrichment Policies. You will be asked to agree to these policies when registering.

creative coding for kidsCreative Coding–Mixed Levels
with Creative Coding 4 Kids

Creative Coding teaches your child to code by helping them make their own custom video games! Our project based, multi-level classes are amazingly fun yet very effective in teaching creative problem solving AND emotional resilience. As your creative girl or boy has fun bringing their ideas to life, they iterate through the emotional cycle of Coding  (idea>excitement>effort>frustration>more effort>triumph!) With our
support and positive encouragement. Repeating this cycle not only builds great coders, but more importantly, develops emotional persistence that will help students enjoy taking on new challenges in all aspects of their lives. Visit: http://www.creativecoding4kids.com
