Arts Friday

Arts Friday

Arts Friday classes are taught by artists-in-residence at West Woodland in visual art and music every (or every other for visual art) Friday during the year. The program offers 15 weeks of music instruction to half the school while the other half receive 8 weeks of visual arts. At the semester end, the program switches to ensure that the children receive both types of art through the year. Classes are 30 minutes each for music and 40 to 55 minutes each for visual art.

Current visual art from ARTS FRIDAY can be seen displayed on the bulletin board to the right of room 209 or see what your child brings home on Fridays!
